This was taken out of my front door when I lived in Eastchurch Kent.Time
This was late night early morning, I like to sit out and watch the stars and moon.Lighting
I didn't do anything special with lighting as the moon is light enough lol.Equipment
I used my finepix S400 when this was taken, I had a Hahnel triad 30 lite tripod. No flash, ISO 400 shutter speed 10/12000, aperture f/5.9.Inspiration
I've always liked the moon and stars and had a telescope for years so I suppose that's why I've always been interested with them.Editing
I used paint shop pro X4 to darken the background and to heighten the features on the moon surface. In my camera bag
I have my new camera my DMC-FZ72 Panasonic Lumia, flash, macro flash, weatherproof case, spare batteries, binoculars, star filters, colour filters, lens cleaner.Feedback
Well apart from using night settings the one good piece of advice I have never forgot is to make sure the tripod your using is very sturdy and to put the camera on a 10 second timer to allow the camera to settle after you've pushed the button.
