This is really a good artwork. Reminds me great classical photographers, the obvious ref is Cartier-Bresson.

Location
This photo was taken on the beach boardwalk in Ocean City, MarylandTime
I took this photo about 6 AM on the boardwalk. The purpose of my trip was actually a business meeting. Taking full advantage, I ventured out early each morning to photograph the surroundings before heading back to the hotel to get dressed for our 8:30 meetings. Take advantage of the opportunities you have.Lighting

Watching the bikes go up and down the boardwalk was pretty entertaining. There are several bike companies that rent on the boardwalk. Some have identification from the rental companies and some don't. I waited patiently for a bike to pass with the Atlantic Bike Company sign attached so it identified where the photo was taken. The reflection was also something that drew me in, as the boardwalk had just been washed off. I used it to show the viewers what time of day it was, which adds some interest to the photo. The view should get a full story from viewing the photo, where it was, what is taking place, and what time of day it is.Editing
I converted it to black and white and added a small amount of contrast. In my camera bag
I always have my Nikon D610 and Nikon 24-70 2.8mm - also keep a Nikon 50mm 1.4 handyFeedback
Try to incorporate various elements in your frame to tell a story. This particular photo incorporates a reflection, that reflection tells the viewer what time it is, and the bike rider tells you the activity. Had the actual clock been included in the photo, it would not have been as interesting. Reflection shots can be taken anywhere, you just need to look for them and decide how you would like to incorporate the concept.
