Thank you, I only had one day in Venice but I could spend a month there and not tire of it.

Location
This was taken on a footbridge at an unknown canal in Venice. I have tried to figure out where this is since taking the shot but have been unable. If anyone knows the location I would love to know!Time
Middle of the afternoon, hot and humid was the rule and we were just trying to escape the crowds, taking one side street after anotherLighting
The lighting was very soft but also very flat with cloud cover so I tried three exposures and blended them in PS.Equipment
Rebel T3i with a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lensInspiration
Honestly, I just took my first photo class before my trip to Europe so I would bring back something other than snap shots. This particular one still grabs my attention though, it really pops to me. Had no idea until seeing it on the computer.Editing
three exposures 0, +2, -2ev, light processing in photomatix with ghost removal and touch up in photoshopIn my camera bag
Canon 6D for quality and a 1Dx mk IIN for well lit action, 24-105mm L lens, 50 mm 1.8, Sigma 50-500mm and Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens, that has me covered except for a good wide angle for astrophotography (that's my next purchase)Feedback
Keep shooting, but make sure you are steady for every shot because there is nothing worse than being surprised with a fantastic shot that is ruined with motion blur
