Took this picture in my sister's living room...using my mobile studio.Time

The lighting was a classic high key setup, with two flagged strobes in the background and a couple of soft boxes as main lights.Equipment
Used four flash guns, two with rogue flashbenders as flags and two softboxes. A mobile background and my trusty D5100. Kept it simple as I had to travel with it in the train...Inspiration

The post precessing was very straight forward, just a few exposure adjustments and turn it to a b & w.In my camera bag
Try and keep it simple with a couple of flashes, a 50mm and a 55-200mm lens. Most times also carry some ND filters and a polarizing depending on the weather or assignment.Feedback
My advice would be to play around with the angles, both the camera angle and the angle of the subject in relation to the camera. Also keep adjusting the light in order to get the defining magic touch.
