I hadn't seen this area late in the day before and thought it would look nice if the sun was coming down through the trees on a cloudy day. One day after work, the lighting seemed right and I decided to stop by and check it out.Editing
There was little post-processing on this. The left and right edges were a little darker than what I liked, so I made a small adjustment to bring out some more detail. In my camera bag

I didn't have my tripod with me (always keep one handy). I wouldn't have been able to use the tripod anyway, since I was sitting on a fallen log across the stream. The only thing I could do was to balance it on the log next to me. I would suggest a small sandbag to steady the camera for areas that a tripod just won't work in. I used Aperature Priority. The timing was good for the stream but it was coming out too dark so I used the compensation to get the lighting as close to where I wanted it.
