Location
This is taken in my hometown Kolkata. My mom planted this one in our garden. I was waiting for it to bloom and on top of that, it rained that day. So it was a perfect moment.Time
It was a very cloudy day and raining little. I just waited till the rain stopped. I could remember clearly it was around 3 pm in the afternoon and just then we were about to take our afternoon nap, suddenly I noticed from my window the beautiful view. I hurriedly took my camera and went to capture this magnificent flower. I was very happy that I skipped my nap and took around 2 hrs to perfect the shot.Lighting
Since it was cloudy, the lighting was even and not very harsh or directional.Equipment
I used Sony A7RIII with Lensbaby 56mm and it was handheld in natural light.Inspiration
I have been taking lots of flower pictures, but I have a major fascination with water droplets pictures. The rain made my dream come true. It made the process natural and spontaneous. It really compelled me to take this awesome picture.Editing
yes, I only increased the clarity in lightroom and played with the shadow slider. In my camera bag
I have my mirrorless camera Canon R5 with a 100mm F2.8 macro lens. The best go-to lens for everything.Feedback
