Behind The Lens

Location

The shot was taken upon a small mountain in an abandoned Greek-American base.

Time

As pro and semi photographer we know the best time for shots are the morning and the late afternoon befor sunset. This shot was taken in the appropriate time in the late afternoon.

Lighting

I know it's hard to shoot against the light, but using the right filters make it more easy. Is just to try and make to have the experiences. And it's absolutely interesting how different the light with different angles work.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D800 with the Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8. Circular ND Filters. No tripod, no flash (I like to shot without flash for to keep it more naturally) and using the best ISO-adjustment.

Inspiration

Was just my imagination to tell my model make a simple way to this big broken door. We tried from different points of view, till I have the result which I wanted.

Editing

The only using was the image goes through PS CC2020 and NikCollection for basic adjustments.

In my camera bag

I repeat on my last description: It depends from what I want to do. Mostly I like to shot landscapes and for this I have all my equipment with me. That means more than 3 cameras (Sony and Nikon) with all the lenses and filters. Tripods, remote controller and so on.

Feedback

Simple to let the imagination flow and the creativity will come from alone. Thanks to you all.
