Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my house, on my balcony.

Time

The photo was taken at 1 pm. It was very hot and fun on the balcony, a small space where you needed to position yourself correctly to create this shot.

Lighting

Natural daylight I wanted the face in the photo to look natural and fresh, so it was decided to shoot in daylight. The light from the window on the balcony helped in this task.

Equipment

For this particular photo, I only used the camera. Sony 7rm2, with Sony 16-36mm lens, I chose this lens because the distance at which I was shooting was very limited.

Inspiration

I wanted to do something funny and bright. The usual breakfast cereals are scattered around the face. And it gave a special effect. This helped turn a simple portrait into a creative and vibrant photo.

Editing

Retouching in Photoshop. For this photo, it was important to show a clear face and brighter, richer colors.

In my camera bag

Usually I take a Sony 7rm2 camera with me and two lenses. 50mm and 16-36mm, in order to feel comfortable in any shooting, whether it is an architectural photography or I need to take a portrait.
