Location
I took this photo in my local coffee shop, Mountaineer Coffee.Time
It was early morning for our usual stop for coffee.Lighting
I have taken numerous photos in this shop using natural light. I am careful where I move any of the items for which I am taking photos so that there are not too many highlights or shadows on the objects.Equipment
I used my iPhone 11 Pro.Inspiration
I have always been intrigued with the look and feel of their coffee cups plus the unique designs in the coffee. This particular morning my husband was elsewhere in the shop so that both cups of coffee were ready before he took his cup. I quickly arranged them with the coffee dispenser and took several different shots of various arrangements. This photo was the arrangement that I liked the best.Editing
There was some of the normal post processing that I do with the Luminar filters for my photos. Nothing major or significant. In my camera bag
I always have my iPhone with me and it is perfect for opportunities like this. When it is my intention to take photographs I also carry my Fuji Finepix. More recently my husband and a VB friend have been encouraging me to upgrade to a better camera. My husband has been kind enough to loan me his second camera, a Fuji XH1. Currently I am alternating between the three cameras sometimes for the same scene.Feedback
This shop is unique and we regularly visit for morning coffee. While the arrangement was done quickly, the familiarity with the environment and items in the shop are always in the back of my mind as photo opportunities.
