Location
The Muskeg River near where Muskeg falls are in Alberta, CanadaTime
just a little after noon, mid summer.Lighting
being near cool water on a hot day added some haze to the distanceEquipment
Taken with my 5D Mark IV with a 24-105 f/4 lens at F8 on a tripod with a longer exposure and a 10 stop filter.Inspiration
I had been there the day before but I felt like I had forgotten something there so I went back, when I got there I noticed a pool and this angle on the valley.Editing
Focus stacking in three levels and black and white conversion. In my camera bag
17-40, 24-105 and a 70-200, those are my main landscape lenses. a tripod and a filter kit, your filter kit should have a 5 and 10 stop ND as well as a polarizer. Brands do not matter but pick a quality one or you end up with the dreaded X.Feedback
Learn when to use color and when to use black and white. Also always remember the trio of filters, Polarizer, 5 stop and 10 stop ND. Those are the most versatile.
