Similar to the boulders at Bowling Ball Beach in California, these unusual rocks are “birthed” out of the cliffs. As they age, cracks form and fill with crystalline growth, causing the prehistoric look. Like a baby honu turtle, the boulders make their way to the sea (maybe a tad slower) and eventually break apart.
