I haven't created a piece of art since Dec 2017, I had this overwhelming need to create, and it felt like home.
This piece is a self-portrait, which is about staying grounded and allowing the light into the darkness.
Nov 11th 2018 I broke my hip and required emergency surgery, I know I will never be the same again, I won't be able to move the same, so this is about me staying strong, staying grounded and even though I have gone into the dark place, to allow the light in.

I broke my hip Nov 2018, being that I am young and have two young children, I went into a depression and was having a tough time not being able to do everything I used to do. I hadn't created a piece of art for over a year and I felt I needed to create something, as it's helped me heal in the past. This image is about being grounded, and despite all the darkness you may be experiencing that there is always light.Editing
Yes, photoshop CC was used, this piece took me about 6 hours to create. In my camera bag
I have my Canon 6D, 24-105mm lens, 50mm 1.4 lens, other lenses that I really never use, and I always have my remote and tripod with me as well.Feedback
