During a visit to Cancun (Mexico) a good friend of mine invited me to do a shooting with a model friend of him. We went to Punta Cancun were is a big lighthouse but when we were the we saw this beautiful boat and we decide to move our lenses to the shark!Time
We did this photo at the sunset a round 6:00 pm aprox.Lighting
We love to do photos at the golden our with a complement of a good soft light (flash) in this case we use a Godox 600w. And a octa soft box.Equipment
I was using on that time my new Sony A9, to many people think is only for sports but until now Im in love of this camera for portraits. The lens I used on this photo was the Sony GM 24-70 2.8mmInspiration
The inspiration was the moment.. we never knew there was a shark there. We saw the chance and we just took the photo.Editing
Well yes I use Captureone in order to do little changes and put up a little bit the colors. In my camera bag
Well.. Sony A9 and 7RIV, lenses GM 85mm, GM 24-70, GM 16-35 and the GM 70-200. Regarding about light I usually use the Profoto A1 and the Profoto B1X when is possible.Feedback
Well I think the technique is important but the must important is be natural and spontaneous. In my case I love to do sessions in open areas and remember is not important the equipment, the most important is your creativity.
