Location
I took this photo in the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), in Toronto, Canada.Time
It was in the middle of the day.Lighting
The lighting was a mix of natural and man made light. The stairs were a very interesting subject and I took many different shots of different angles until I got one or two that I really liked.Equipment
I just used a canon rebel t6i with a standard lens. I've now updated to a Canon 6D.Inspiration
I was going to a Yayoi Kusama exhibit at the gallery and while waiting in line these stairs really caught my eye.Editing
I used Lightroom to do simple edits. I didnt like the photo at first and so i msde it black and white, sharpened it up and added clarity. In my camera bag
I've changed camera's since this photo. Now i always carry a canon 6D, my 24-105L series lens, a 14mm wide angle, and a 75-300mm for animal shots. I also carry a polarizer filter, ND filter and my tripod in my bag with a few other accessories like extra batteries and memory cards.Feedback
Just go out there and take shots of everything. You might not realize you've grabbed a great shot till you look through your photos later. And make sure your framing and lighting is right. Those are the most important for a good shot. Everything in your photo should have a purpose.
