Location
This photo was taken in Tobermory, Bruce Peninsula National Park, Ontario, Canada.Time
It was taken in the late morning.Lighting
Light wasn't amazing, but for this specific shot it didn't need to be as I was shooting the shot looking straight down.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D with a 24-105mm L series canon lens, shot in hand with a polarizer filter to help the harsh light.Inspiration
I love this shot because of the symmetry. I also thought, since I was so high up i could replicate a drone shot, which I thought I ended up doing well.Editing
I used Lightroom just to make it look as it did when I saw it live. I also cropped it to make the symmetry perfect. In my camera bag
I have my canon 6D, I have three lenses: 24-105mm L series, 70-300mm (for animal shots), and a 14mm Rokinon for astrophotography. I also have an ND filter, a polarizer filter, a regular tripod, a Joby Gorilla 3kg tripod (so worth it), and extra batteries.Feedback
Just go out and take as many shots as you can! You'll always improve and you can go back and edit a shot later.
