Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in an abandoned factory in Bosnia. During the war a lot huge of factories have been destroyed and abandoned. It was a perfect site for a fashion shoot.

Time

We waited for a specific time so that the sun rays would come through small windows on top and create this effect.

Lighting

Since it is the old factory there is a lot of dust and light rays play a perfect game with it creating a special effect.

Equipment

I used natural light and Canon 6D.

Inspiration

I wanted to create a contrast with colour and the elegant model and the scenery.

Editing

Usually, fashion photography requires a certain amount of editing but here the light was so perfect and the colour contrasted so well and it let the coat pop out perfectly so the editing was minimal.

In my camera bag

I mostly use a very simple equipment, Canon MK III and a 50mm lens is my favourite combination. I prefer natural light to studio lightning.
