Location
This photo was taken in my home town of "The Bronx", a borough of New York, USA.Time
I took the photo as I walked to work, at about 7 am. A storm front was moving in and I was lamenting the fact that I had left my Nikon 750, at home. I opted to use my cell phone; just to have the image.Lighting
The lighting in the image is almost un-retouched. Minor adjustment to brightness and contrast.Equipment
I used my iPhone 7, set to panorama mode, hand held.Inspiration
I took the photo, because of the unusual appearance of the sky. It looked like something out of the movie "Twister".Editing
The original image was almost perfect off of the iPhone. I applied a technique of wrapping the image on itself, to give the other worldly look.In my camera bag
I often carry a Nikon D750 with a 70-300mm non VR lense, for my daily walks.Feedback
My advise to anyone interested in this photo, is to always think photographically and be prepared to capture the image. If you don't have your camera, use whatever is on hand. In this case, I used my phone. Once you have the image you can create your picture. Play around with the "Tiny World" Technique. Be well, Go in peace and capture the world. Q
