Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken in Etiopia on 2012. We were looking for birds at places nobady goes and she showed up out of the blue, walking alone till she disappeared.

Time

It was at morning, but the sun runs up very quickly and the light was very heavy

Lighting

I tried to keep the memories of the places preserving contrast and colors as strong as they were

Equipment

This shot was taken with a Sony 580 and a Sigma 100-500. No more equipment.

Inspiration

We were looking for birds and wen I saw her waking away I thought she was the real vision of Africa and I took the chance.

Editing

No. I only corrected contract and colors.

In my camera bag

At this moment I go everywhere with my cannon 7d MII and the 100-400 lens. I also take my 50 f 1.8 with the polarizer and N2 filter

Feedback

This is a chance photo, then the only advise is to be ready with your camera on just to caught the moment in any kind of condictions take the chance and tincking after how to trasform or keep the lights.
