On the first Friday, in December 2016, a close friend, and I went out to take a few pictures as we often do. The day started out very nice, even though they were saying rain was on it's way for that evening, but the early part of the day was great. On our way back to my house, we had stopped for a while to photograph a Bald Eagle along side the rural highway in North Central Oklahoma, after we started on our way again, I knew of a old bridge that I once stopped for, but that day we drove in on the south side of the bridge, which was closed. So, this time we turned in on the north side of the bridge to find a different old bridge.
While we were taking pictures of and around the bridge, I spotted in the creek below a leaf just floating around, having seen a picture similar before, I remembered it was taken in more shallow water than this photo. When I started taking the picture I didn't exactly know how it would turn out, but kept with my plan.
When I look at this shot, I can see the leaf of course, but also the ones, or it appears to be more on the bottom of the creek as well. This picture has been edited in Lightroom, with clarity, saturation, and contrast is about all, no selective color. This is just how it turned out.
Myself, I though Wow!, and kept the image, so now I sharing it with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
