As a serious amateur photographer, I'm inspired by the thousands of images I have seen over the years. In other words, I copy the pros because I learn.
The infamous long exposure of a mini stream waterfalls offers that opportunity to create that famous misty look. Especially in a low light setting such as this shot's area.
This shot is also the first of 10 shots with a recently purchased wide angle lens. I couldn't afford the Nikon version of this lens so I purchased a knock-off: the Sigma DC 17-50mm 2:8 EX HSM.
So far, I'm pleased, although, the first 10 shots with this lens all seem to have a blue hue which I suspect is a camera "shot" setting. I can't wait to fiddle around more!
