The scale of this shot is exciting and the girl gives a focal point that emphasizes the depth. I could hand out in this picture for a long time.

What else can I say that hasn't already been said. This photo makes me feel a very special way and also leaves me wondering what's beyond the mountain range. I absolutely love the sun hitting her hair and the posture at which she sits. It's like shes saying I want to fly above the mountains but I want to sit here for a minute longer and grow roots because this spot is the perfect place to live. Congratulations. It's a truly lovely photo.

Location
This photo is taken atop of Mt. Evans in Colorado. You can access this peak via hike or road, which is unique for Colorado's 14ers.Time
This was taken at sunrise on a chilly morning. We woke up early to make the drive up the narrow road to the peak of the mountain, passing a few mountain goats along the way.Lighting
At 14,000 feet in the air, its hard to get bad lighting around sunrise. This particular morning was a little foggy, which made this particular shot more interesting. I tried to angle the photo to give at least a small visualization at just how high up we were.Equipment
Nikon D3100, nothing fancy.Inspiration
The gal in the photo is the love of my life. I take pictures of her whenever I get the chance.Editing
I brought in the cliff on the left to grab a little more attention, and tried to lower the contrast in the background to give a clearer picture of the depth of the photo. In my camera bag
My Nikon, extra batteries, tripod, remote shutter. Nothing too fancy.Feedback
