On Monday morning, after rising from our camp at 437m, we had the opportunity to witness this magnificent sunrise. This 11 shot panorama was taken on a small hill rising above Sprinkling Tarn (at the front of the image) and gave fantastic views down the valley to the right all the way to Derwent Water. To the left at the back are the beginning slopes of Great End with Great Gable a little to the right and Green Gable to the right of that.
With nobody else around except for a few wild campers sleeping the valley below, this was a truly tranquil and beautiful moment. The orange glow of the sun slowly filled the valley beginning a perfect day for being in nature.
