I caught the Milky Way! Stood in the middle of a dry lake, 2000+ metres above sea level in the French Alps, the chase was now over. After months of trying, only to fail due to conditions outside of my control, I captured this image of the Milky Way.

As twilight came to an end, I looked up and the stars shined brighter and brighter. Soon enough, I was face to face with our galaxy, the Milky Way. The clusters of stars arched above, twinkling in the clear evening sky. I moved into position, adjusted focus and hit the shutter. The image flashed up on my camera and I couldn't believe my eyes. I grinned ear to ear and walked back to my tent accomplished, proud and excited.

I'm even more excited to share this with you all now. And, although the chase is now over, this is only just the beginning. <3
