Location
This photo was taken on a private tour of Antelope Canyon, AZTime
Spring. We drove very early to a section of the Indian reservation that controls access to Antelope Canyon. It was quite a hike and climb down.Lighting
The unique lighting of this Canyon is what makes it famous for these types of shots. Unfortunately there is really a specific time of year that the light comes through strongest but my schedule wouldn’t allow a later trip.Equipment
Canon 60D- manual. Wide lens. No flash but higher iso. Standard tripod.Inspiration
My favorite things to shoot are animals and landscapes. This was an impromptu trip but I just feel in love with the colors in the Canyon and how something so beautiful could be right under our feet.Editing
Amazingly no. I don’t shoot RAW or photoshop my photos. I like to say it’s because I almost feel like it’s no longer real but mainly because I lack those post processing skills :-)In my camera bag
My camera, two lens for different distance and a UV filter.Feedback
Early morning (before 9a) summer light is best in this Canyon in my experience.
