Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken outside of a horse stable that runs a riding instruction outreach program.

Time

The sunsets typically look quite vibrant because of the bay and harbors right behind the treeline.

Equipment

This was after I'd already packed up my equipment for the day, so all I used was my Canon and Tamron 24-70 2.8.

Inspiration

The jewelry being featured was handmade as part of a fundraising program for a local individual who tries to raise awareness for sex trafficking in many countries. She'd just returned from Cambodia where she worked to help many young women.

Editing

Some in Lightroom, but very little.

In my camera bag

Flash, 50 mm lens, Canon 6D, Tamron 24-70 2.8, extra bat/SD cards, small tripod, and chewing gum.

Feedback

It's just a matter of timing and patience to get the right window of sunlight that works best for the desired shot. A few inches higher or lower in this situation made for a far less desirable image.
