Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in a field that is beside the main road linking Hull and Bridlington,UK. I spotted several, what looked like World war 2 military out buildings. So slammed on the brakes at the fraisthorpe turn off and went to investigate

Time

I don't usually function until I have had my first strong cup of Yorkshire Tea in the morning so the picture would have been taken around 12 - 2pm

Lighting

I merely used the standard setting with no twiddling on my Samsung mobile and found no extra lighting was needed

Equipment

All I had was my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 mobile, steady hand and what turned out to be a good eye

Inspiration

It reminded me of the old days of a tin bath in front of the open fire and having to collect wood to keep the home fires burning. The struggle of the common man

Editing

The only post editing that I did was to crop the original image down to the image you see now. Nothing more was needed.

In my camera bag

At the moment I only use the mobile I have but have recently been gifted a Cosina CS-2 , 35mm camera. That will be my new toy next year.

Feedback

See the picture you want before you take it. Before you even pull a camera out, visualise that final image. Once you see it then begin.
