This photo was taken in Trieste, Italy, my new home town. During my first week in the city, after moving from Rio de Janeiro to Genova and then Genova to Trieste, I decided to visit the coast of Trieste and had the huge luck of seeing this master piece, combining a lovely sunset with its painted-like clouds and the Adriatic Sea. A great combination of colours.Time
This is one of my most appreciated photos. It was taken in the end of the summer of 2014, about 7 pm.Lighting
What else do I need to lighten up a nice photo like this one? I was just lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, exactly when the clouds started to look more like a real painting. Just the combination of colours, clouds, the sun and the sea makes this a special photo for me.Equipment
At that time I had only my Iphone 4s to take pictures, but thanks to the impressive sighting I had in front of me it didn't matter much which camera I took the photo with.Inspiration
After moving twice (from Rio to Genova to Trieste) I got used to changes in my life. Every change I made was always a difficult obstacle, but I had always the confidence that these obstacles would give me the opportunity to have a new beginning in life and to move forwards. The only thing that never changed in me was the love I had to sunsets. Since I was starting a new adventure I thought: how can you start an awesome adventure without ending your first day with a perfect sunset?Editing
All I had to do with my post-processing in this photo was lightening up a bit of the colours since i considered them one of the most important elements. In my camera bag
I had nothing besides my Iphone 4s and my wallet. After all I am just a beginner trying to travel the world and taking photos of things that i feel part of me.Feedback
I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. All I had to do was go out before sunset and wait for the master-piece that the Adriatic Sea gives us every day.
