Location
This photo was taken at the far end of the Paxton Pits nature reserve in Cambridgeshire UKTime
It was a dull, foggy ,cold winter morning. We made a grand circle of the reserve, then on our way back I saw far ahead on the field this fox, running towards the road. I set the focus where he was going to intersect the road, took a few shots and this came out :) It's one of my favorite shots I made and I'm proud of it.Lighting
As this particular morning was quite foggy, the missing hedge patches gave nice lighting and contrast to the otherwise dark over the road archway.Equipment
I took this photo my canon 60D and my old zoom lens the ef-s 55-250Inspiration
As being on that spot in the right time, the light was in place but it was a bit empty, than the fox came around.Editing
I always shoot raw, so when it comes to post process it gives me much more flexibility. On this photo I used some dodge and burning, contrast adjustment and cropping. In my camera bag
Although I usually plan my journey, in my bag I have the equipment I need for most situations. Don't own a full frame camera yet so I have my canon 60D, 15-85 for most of my landscape shots, my new sigma 150-600 for wildlife, canon 50 1.8 and my very reliable manfrottto xprob 190 tripod.Feedback
Plan your trip, do your research of the place (obviously know your gear), and if you want to at least see more wildlife, get up early because it makes a huge difference.
