Location
This photo was taken in my brothers apartment in the outskirts of Atlanta, GA. The image took place in his bathroom right after my nephew recieved his bath.Time
The photo was taken in the evening. This photo means a lot because it is my nephew in the image being held my his father. Growing up with out a father we both dont have much to remember about himy, this image will always bring memories.Lighting
The lighting in the bathroom was direct only from one side. I used the Nikon D610 builthe in camera flash giving it the glow on his face.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D610 with a Nikon 24mm-70mm f/2.8 with the Nikon Built in Camera flash.Inspiration
Going back to my Growing Pains as a child we didn't spent much time with our father. Being back and forth through him and my mother there was never many photos taken of us. I took this photo to mark a memorable moment in my brothers memory bank and to have something for my nephew to look back at.Editing
Yes, the image was shot in RAW format (nef) and came out a weird color. I thought that it would be a great idea to darken the background, smooth some skin and put a small glow on my nephews face. I use Adobe Light Room for the lighting. In my camera bag
I carry a Nikon D610 with my two favorite lens, Nikon 24mm-70mm f/2.8, and Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8GFeedback
Some advice I could give to others is just believe in what you see, I believe that photography has no right or wrong if it is done purposely, but an image taken without knowing your camera can lead to unsatisfaction.
