Location
I took this picture in a wood near my town in Belgium.Time
It was the end of the afternoon. The sun began to come down and there was this ray of light crossing the path, with a nice and warm feeling.Lighting
It is a full natural light shoot. This is the first of the serie we made at this location.Equipment
I use a Nikon D700 with a 70-200 f/2.8 VrIIInspiration
First the light, and the place where the light is place. I could compose the image with the grooms in the light on the right and the path symbolizing the future road which they are on the point of taking on the left.Editing
Not a lot: after developping the raw file, I made some minor beauty retouch for the couple, I warmed just a little the whole image and played a little with the contrast in local area's.In my camera bag
For a shoot like this, I have my main body camera and a second body, 2 lens (24-120 and 70-200), 2 speedlights, a softbox, 2 stands for the speedlights, a reflector and some accessories like gels and batteries.Feedback
First of all well know the place where you will carry out the shooting, to have a roadmap stating that you want to do and at which place because for this kind of shooting, the timing is always rather tight. Then, being attentive with the luminous current conditions and to adapt to try to draw the best. This photograph was not envisaged at the beginning, but when I saw this light, it would have been a shame not to benefit from it. It is besides the first picture which one took at this meeting
