Location
This photo was taken at Walla Crag, which is located above Keswick in the Lake District National Park.Time
Time was approx 3pm and the sun was heading down behind the mountains.Lighting
Light was just a glorious spring day and I took the photo at approx 90 degrees to the sun.Equipment
Hand held with my Canon 500D and a EFS 18-55mm kit lens.Inspiration
It was the way she sat majestically looking across the scene. Normally she wouldn't sit for long, so I basically had one chance. Like the old adage says, "You have to be in the right place at the right time" and in this case, I was.Editing
Being in the mountains, she is always on her lead, but it distracted from the photo, so I cloned it out. Other than that, I altered the levels slightly and ran it through Topaz to give the sunset a bit more colour.In my camera bag
