Behind The Lens

Location

North shore, Oahu, HI

Time

This was taken in late morning.

Lighting

No special lighting, or flash was used, just the sun.

Equipment

Canon T3 with the basic 55mm lens.

Inspiration

I've always loved the shapes and "sculptures" so to speak, that sea foam makes. You never know what you'll get.

Editing

Yes. I felt black and white would show more depth as well as enhancing the shadows.

In my camera bag

Body, 55mm and 35mm lense.

Feedback

No special secrets here. I was laying on a blanket on the beach reading a book and I would occasionally look up and snap a couple of runs on the camera. I didn't know what I captured until I dumped my camera at the end of the day.
