Behind The Lens

Location

my photo was taken on our local Scottish beach,Eyemouth.

Time

I think it was mid morning,we were enjoying a family day on the beach ,it was an overcast Summers day but the children wanted to enjoy the sea.When they discovered how bitter the water was they encouraged each other to brave the cold by holding hands,as brother and sister this was unusual and such a rare sight I quickly snapped this shot.

Lighting

although it was a dull day I relied on the natural light bouncing off the sea

Equipment

my nikon D3000 which is never far from my side,

Inspiration

It was a lucky chance to see the children grab hands just for those first few steps into the cold sea

Editing

i do not post process

Feedback

I enjoy taking photographs as often as I can so I always try and have my camera with me ,I do not often plan ahead I seize the moment and snap away at what ever inspires me.
