Location
I took this photo at one of the many lakes near where I live in Copenhagen.Time
This was early morning. I remember that I woke up and saw that there was fog outside. I then just jumped in my clothes and went out to shoot!Lighting
Early morning. The sun just got up.Equipment
I took this with my Sony A7 MK2, and with a 28mm. No tripod.Inspiration
When taken my walk around the lake, I saw this small island which is normally populated by a lot of birds. Now, non, and it looks like it was completely isolated.Editing
I did spend quite a lot in post. I saw it as completely isolated when I took the photo, ans therefore it was important for that to be the final result as well.In my camera bag
Normally I walk around with my Ricor GR3. It is not so often I bring a bag with my full Sony equipment.Feedback
The right lens is key. This photo wouldn't have come out like this if I didn't have my newly bought 28mm. This only turned out this way because of the wide angle.
