Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the world famous Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Time

This is one of my favorite photos. I took this shot on a hot summer evening at dusk during my favorite "Golden Hour"

Lighting

In order to get both the background during the "Golden Hour" and at the same time capture the lighting in the corridor of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, I selected a 10 mm wide angle lens with f/stop 5.6 and speed setting 1/30

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS 60 D body , Canon wide angle lens 10mm & a Tripod

Inspiration

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a world class monument and I have visited it several times to capture the beauty and serenity. This view struck me as fascinating with the play of natural ambient light and the various hues of the lamps and the full reflection in the Reflecting Pool

Editing

The only post processing I did was to improve saturation

I carry a Canon 5D Mark IV Body with various Canon Lens and Canon Flash

Feedback

Try to experience many different light settings and multiple sources of light. Water reflections always add a great dimension to the photo.
