The Marshall House was opened in 1851 by Mary L. Marshall. Between 1864-65, the building was taken over by General William Tecumseh Sherman’s Union troops and was used as hospital until the end of the war. The third floor is said to be very haunted with sites of ghosts in Civil War uniforms. One of the last rooms at the end of the third floor is said to be very haunted by an aggressive spirit, so stay in that room if you dare. Taken from our second lil trip to Savannah GA back in August, after my friends wedding.
