Location
I was on a vacation of Texas, this shot was taken at the University of Texas Austin by their large fountain. Beautiful flowers blooming all around the fountain including this oneTime
Around 12:34 pm, June 2019. Hot summer day, but spent exploring the campus.Lighting
The lighting was great with plenty of direct sunlight overhead, hot temperatures too. ISO 200.Equipment
I went for my trusted DSLR my Nikon D750, I was taking some pictures of the architecture with my Sigma 150-500. This shot was 380 mm, ISO 200, no tripod or flash.Inspiration
I was over by the University's giant fountain and there were beautiful flowers all around the fountain. This flower just called to me to take its picture I really like how it turned out using my telephoto.Editing
I do minimal editing to my photos. I use Adobe bridge to adjust white balance, exposure, Contrast, clarity, the basic minor touch ups.In my camera bag
I always have my Nikon D750, several filters for lenses, my merrynine crystal ball which always sparks questions from passers by, and a variety of lenses such as the Sigma 150-500, Sigma 24-70, Sigma art 20 mm f/1.4, Nikon 14-24 f/2.8, Nikon 70-200 f/2.8, Nikon 50 mm f/1.4, Tamron 28-300. I also carry plenty of other things like lens wipes, extra batteries, extra memory cards, a piece of welders glass to use for direct sun viewing for eclipses, etc.Feedback
Make sure there is plenty of good sunlight, and get far enough back with your telephoto lens. This was ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/500 s, and no tripod but if I would have had one, I would have used it.
