A night I went to Paris for the night on the 16th January 2019 I went to Paris just for the night Wake Up alarm 5 am Wednesday Morning to drive to Manchester Airport Arrived at my Paris Hotel 4pm went out with my Camera at 4:30 pm Back to Hotel 2am 2 hours sleep Left Hotel 4am to travel back arrived home in the UK 1:30 pm Well worth the trip to get this image aloneTime
This picture was taken whilst I walked for the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower at about 10 pm in the rainLighting
I am always amazed at what the camera see at night.Equipment
I used a Sony A9 camera with a Voigtlander 12m Lens F8 ISO 80 150/10 Triopd polyethene bag to keep te camera dryInspiration
The Louvre in Paris has been on my list to photograph for some time. I have seen pictures online before but have never seen it before Being in Paris it could not resist taking a photo of the Eiffel Tower Unfortunately it was raining however this made for some great reflections on the streets of Paris and around the Louvre. As had not expected rain I had to cover my Camera with a polyethene bag to keep it dry This picture was taken whilst I walked for the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower My Images portray a personal vision, covering numerous subjects such as landscapes, cityscapes, architecture, motor sport and much more both in colour and monochrome. I like night time photography I am always amazed at what the camera see at night.Editing
I am able to edit and manipulate photos in Photoshop and several other editing software I had very little post processing to complete on this pictureIn my camera bag
For this trip I took my main camera a Sony A9 plus I had my Sony A6000 in my Rucksack I also had a GoPro 5 and a GoPro 6 in the bag with a Insta 360 camera and a Brinno Time Lapse camera I always have these in my bag for video and time lapse opportunities the GoPro cameras are both waterproof which would have been ideal as it was raining however as I decided to concentrate of photography I did not use these I had a Voigtlander 12m Lens on the Sony A9 this is an amazing lens for wide angle especially at night. I also had a Sony Zeiss 70m and a Sony 100-400 in the bag I tripod and gorilla Pod plus an expandable telescopic monopod and several Mini Pods and straps for the GoPro and Insta 360. I took spare memory cards and Batteries and a charger So my Rucksack was pretty heavy, but I like to be prepared it was a long way to travel and I did not want to miss an opportunity I used Brinno Time Lapse camera while waiting in Paris Airport n my return journey and captured so good footageFeedback
I like to be prepared so that I do not miss an opportunity. My advice would be to take as much equipment as you think you may need and that you are able to carry check that you have memory cards and batteries
