A late afternoon shot in the desert of California after the winter rains when the desert floor was full of wild flowers of many colors growing through the apparent caked and dry earth. The sun making its way through the ominous dark rain clouds to selective create light and shades over the colorful mountains covered with greenery and displaying the hues of colors of the mountains and rocks. A rare sight after our abundant winter rains breaking a ten plus year continuous drought. So much to be thankful for!
