Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo off the Florida coast. We were out on the ocean in a pontoon boat and we had a flock of seagulls trailing behind our boat hoping for some food. We had some bread handy and decided to toss some in the air. They are aerial acrobats and caught the food with ease. I managed to snag this photo of the gull in perfect symmetrical alignment. The sun shining on the bird makes the photo look angelic or heavenly.

Time

It was around 2:00pm in the afternoon.

Lighting

No special lighting was used. I always use the natural light provided by nature.

Equipment

Canon T6 Rebel with a 75-300mm lens.

Inspiration

I enjoy taking action shots of animals in motion.

Editing

I cropped the photo to get a closer look at the bird.

In my camera bag

I currently use a Canon T6 Rebel camera. I have several lenses I carry in my bag: 75-300mm and 150-600mm.
