Location
Florence Duomo taken from the viewpoint Piazzale Michaelangelo.Time
This was taken as the blue hour. The natural light was fading and the city lights were just starting to come on along with the ones illuminating the Duomo.Lighting
Best to get there early and shoot through sunset and the blue hour.Equipment
Nikon D850 with a 70-200 F2.8 Nikkor lens mounted on a tripod. Shutter release used.Inspiration
What an amazing view. Why would you not wish to grab this shot?Editing
Minor adjustments in Light room and photoshop. Mostly contrast and some sharpening. In my camera bag
Nikon D850 and a number of Nikon lenses incl. 16-35 F4, 24-70 F2.8, 70-200 F2.8, 200-500 F5.6, 50 F1.8, 105 macro F2.8 Gitzo tripod and ball head.Feedback
Get there early, set up and stand your ground. Always massive crowds at sunset. Also try to position yourself so you can get a shot of the bridges as well.
