Location
This photo was taken on a winding country road, near Ancramdle, NY. It was just one of many sunflowers in a field full of the same.Time
The photo was taken about midday. It was an overcast day and one lonely insect resides on one of the right petals.Lighting
The lighting was just natural light, on an overcast day. which is best for taking photos besides sunup or sundown.Equipment
the photo was taken with my IPhone 6S Plus. It was the only equipment I had with me at the time. I was just going for a refreshing country drive.Inspiration
I was inspired by the long field of Sunflowers that i was driving by at the time. I passed the field and turned around and came back to the sight to capture a few photos of the field and some specific flowers.Editing
Some ninor color correction of the photo was completed on the Iphone application. In my camera bag
Nikon D7200 - with various Nikon lenses: 28-85mm 80-200mm Vivitar - Closeup Macro Lenses +1,+2, +4, +10 Series 1 -52mm Lastly, a simple lightweight tripod. Coolpix X6500Feedback
Keep your eyes open and just shoot what you like. I find i get the best photos that way. Try to frame your photo as it your were in photoshop or what ever post processing application you use to edit, but instead frame it on site. Take at least a few of each subject as wind, sun and other influences may spoil your first shot. Shoot with what you have, sometimes you may miss a great shot just because you didn't have your expensive equipment.
