Location
I took it in San Angelo TexasTime
About 30 minutes before sunset.Lighting
I was waiting on the horse to turn so the sun would fall on the horse just right.Equipment
Nikon D7200 Tamron 70-200 mm Natural light.Inspiration
I like photographing horses and I saw this one in a field and the lighting was just right so I stopped.Editing
I used Light Room and adjusted the lights, shadows, whites and blacks. In my camera bag
Nikon D800 Nikon D7200 Nikon D3 Nikon 50 mm f/1.8 Nokina 11-16 mm F2.8 Tamron 70-200 mm f2.8 Nikon 85 m f/1.8Feedback
Just be patient and let the sun hit the subject just right. When editing in Light Room lights all the way to the left, shadows all the way right the click whites while holding down Alt and adjust then repeat with the blacks.
