Location
This shot was taken in Elijay Georgia, close to the Blue Ridge Mountains. My husband and I were on our Honeymoon there, visiting the beautiful farmland and countryside. I've always been an artist at heart and as a hobbyist shutterbug I couldn't pass up the chance to get some great pictures.Time
I love this picture because the fog was so dense and it was about 10 am so everything was still wet with most and dew. November in the mountains can be chilly so it was just a great gloomy day which made for a fun time.Lighting
As a person who very rarely edits my photos, I love how the fog and lack of sunlight in the scene made it look so gritty and old.Equipment
This was taken with my Nikon D3200 with an 18-55mm lens. Nothing else was used.Inspiration
Everyday things inspire me! I love the beauty in ordinary people, places, and things, and I always try to capture what I see as the humanity in them. Amazing things are everywhere.Editing
I do not like to edit my photos. I just made this one black and white because it fit so perfectly with the shot.In my camera bag
I have an old canon S3 that is my heart. Even though I barely use it these days it was the first digital I had and I love it. I always have my Nikon D3200 with my 18-55mm nikkor lens, a zoom, a handful of UV and fade filters, and my trusty vivitar tripod.Feedback
Hmmm. Any advice I would have is just to have fun. Don't take yourself too seriously and let the canvas find you. Also, bracket your shots! It was the first thing I learned and it's treated me well.
