Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home studio, I'm pretty much self taught in Photography, I have an A Level in photography and previous to this venture was a Graphic Designer.

Time

This images was taken during the morning, he was such a good little boy.

Lighting

I only used one light for this image, I have used Photoshop and Lightroom to edit and created a painterly effect with an overlay.

Equipment

I use a Canon 5D Mark III

Inspiration

I love this time of year and LOVE being creative so thought I'd bring the outside in!

Editing

I shoot in RAW so I can edit to the best quality each time. I have used actions and overlays to create this image.

Camera, lens, batteries.

Feedback

ALWAYS ensure safety of newborns, the mother was right beside little one with her hand on his back... when I gave the go ahead, she lifted her hand a little off his back and I took the shot, she then placed hand back on his back. I then edited the hand/arm out of the picture. SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!!
