There is no story behind. She is quite new in front of the camera, but the hell she is amazing.

Behind The Lens

Location

I captured this picture at my bedroom window. The windows opens to west so I got a lot of natural light till 2 P.M.

Time

This picture was taken around noon time. The time of the day to photograph around my windows.

Lighting

No secret in that, it is only natural light. No direct sun, in the shadow with clear sky.

Equipment

Just my camera and a lens. Nothing more is needed.

Inspiration

I was a little bit inspired by the pictures from Peter Lindbergh. I really like his natural monochrome style. And this model was the right one to make an homage to him.

Editing

I shoot in RAW and my post processing is in LR and PS. But I try to adjust only contrast and colors. If possible I avoid retouching the pictures.

In my camera bag

Normale I carry my camera and three lenses with me. Yes of course I do have a reflector and two strobes with me, but I seldom use that.

Feedback

I don't like to tell people how to work to get pictures like mine. Everyone should make his own picture. Learn how to use the camera and train to see the light. For me the most important think is to communicate with the model. Everyone should remember at every time, in people photography you make pictures of humans and not from objects. Show respect and be thankful that you have the opportunity to do so.
