Location
This image was taken in Kaikondrahalli lake , Bangalore,India.Time
This is one of the best shot I ever had taken and its my favorite image. I usually visit this Kaikondrahalli lake at evenings like 5 pm. Its my usual hang out spot. As soon as my college classes gets over, I grab my gear and visit here. This place provides two things 1. Beautiful places for photography 2. Also a cool spot for a long walk which will ease the mind. So the time when I clicked this image is around evening, close to sunset , as you can see the setting sun.Lighting
Well about the lighting I would say it was close to sunset, so you will have a orangish sky color. I was pointing my lens straight against sun light ,the flares are also visible. As I was pointing lens against the harsh light of sun ,after capturing the image I wasn't able view it on the DSLR screen because my eyes got flashy for a few minutes after the continuous exposure to light source (sun) since I was manually focusing the birds. So it took few minutes to get back my vision and then I reviewed the image and the result was good as expected.Equipment
I used Nikon d3100 with 70 -300 Tamron lens. No other equipments are used,Inspiration
As I have already mentioned this is my hang out spot. This place is cool spot to get away the rushing city life even though it situated near to city but provides calm and serene environment. After the boring classes I usually come here with my dslr and captures everything I find interesting. While this images was taken the lighting, ambiance and even nature was in favor for the shot. Sometime we can picture how we want a image on our mind and this image was beyond my imagination. Birds, tree and sunset are three best combination to get great images. I always love nature and this love towards nature is what inspired me to take this photo which turned to be an amazing image.Editing
I did post processing on this image to bring out the colors and made other basic adjustments. In my camera bag
1. Nikon d3100 2. 18 - 55 mm lens 3. 70 - 300 mm lens 4. 35 mm lens 5. UV Filter 6. ND Filter 7. Wired Trigger 8. 2 Batteries 9. 4 gb,8 gb,16 gb Memory cardsFeedback
I have only one important thing to say please do not look into harsh light source (ex.sun light ) with your lens pointing directly at it , as it is dangerous to our eyes. When I started out photography I had no idea that it was dangerous. So keep it in your mind . Be careful and keep clicking.
