That would be so cool to see in person. The picture is fantastic! If it is that big above the water, how much bigger it must be under the water.Wow!

So, I have to ask! Have you seen the movie "the secret life of Walter Mitty"? There's a scene where he is running or something, and it looks just like that hill and house... just curious, both my daughter and I thought that!!

I am literally looking for ways to get there. I'm in Boston, so, it's not "that" far.

Location
I took the photo in Ferryland, Newfoundland.Time
It was early afternoonLighting
I used natural lightingEquipment
For that photo I took it with my Sony a58 and my 55 to 300 zoom in lens on my tripodInspiration
I heard about the huge iceberg in fairyland that was early for the iceberg season so close to land so I made the trip which is about an hour drive from St John’s , Newfoundland where I live on Easter Sunday last year.Editing
I may have cleared up the exposure And cropped it a little. I don’t do a lot of editing to my photos. In my camera bag
They quit been in my bag I always carry my Sony a 58 my 55 to 300 zoom in lens, my wide angle and portrait lens. Extra sd cards , lens cleaner and cloth , a few neutral density filter‘s And Roll of electrical tapeFeedback
This photo was actually internationally published by routers in the UK. The day I went there there was 20 or more other photographers there but when I was asked by routers if they could publish the photo with 3 others they said because I didn’t do much editing and left the people in the photo to show the size differences made the photo better.
