Location
This picture was taken in Etosha (Namibia)Time
It was early in the morning, the sun was peeping over the horizon and the little guy was playing hide and seek in the den. After a while he calmed down and went to lie down with one of his parents. The glittering of the rising sun is reflected in their eyes.Lighting
I just used the natural light of the rising sun.Equipment
Nikon D7100, Objective: Sigma 150-600mmInspiration
The lovely and warm connection between parent and pup!Editing
I used a vignet to get more accent on the centre of the picture. The brightness has also been elevated a bit.In my camera bag
I always have a second body with me, which is my first camera: a Nikon D3200. A 50mm f1:8 primelens and Nikon 18-105mm zoomlens as well as a Tamron 16-300mm as an allrounder. And last but not least: spare batteries!Feedback
I simply love to work with aperture settings ! Especially large aperture settings give very nice results in wildlife photography. In some situations, you need to be really fast to get a nice shot, as animals don't tend to 'pose'. So practice in advance to get the settings straight, so that you can easily and quickly modify settings when necessary.
