I left the cabin early last weekend and headed out to Bear Rocks Preserve at the eastern edge of the Dolly Sods wilderness hoping for clouds and an epic sunrise. Instead those of us out shooting that day were met with a clear sky where the only clouds were in the valley below us. On the positive side of things, the blueberry leaves were still prevalent and glowing red backlit by the sun. Also, I got to hang out with some great photographers; meeting some for the first time after following them for a while:) I love this part of West Virginia. It is so unique and special.
